Sandy’s experience in the Interior Design field is seasoned with degrees in both Home Economics in Business from University of Wisconsin-Stout and a BS in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota. That, coupled with her NCIDQ Certification, her term as ASID Chapter President and nearly 30 years in the business, makes her as smart and savvy as she is instinctual and inspired.
Sandy believes the truest predictor of success is that the client has fun. When the process is a pleasure, great results are almost guaranteed. Sandy knows how to get there – and how wonderful the ride can be.

Sandy is an active volunteer and Director at Large for Joy Collaborative, a Minnesota-based non-profit that creates life-enhancing spaces for youth with life-limiting conditions. “In a sense, Joy Collaborative’s work isn’t so different from the mission of Twist Interior Design,” says Sandy. “The whole objective is to bring joy to those we serve.”

Drawing on her experience in both the residential and commercial worlds, Sarah combines a deep baseline knowledge of design principles and resources with a talent for listening and an ability to translate clients’ needs and passions into an environment they can call their own.
Sarah’s own passion is fueled in part by the challenge of bringing together the disparate components of design into a cohesive whole. “I love the process of taking a project from conception to completion, and seeing how all our efforts yield a result that’s as practical as it is personal,” she says. Sarah earned her Interior Design degree from the University of Minnesota.
